Date Confirmation

Your ceremony date and time will be confirmed in writing via email once your $150 deposit has been received.

Date Changes

I will always endeavour to accommodate you should you wish to change the day of your marriage. However, if you choose to change your date within 6 months of your wedding, a $60 fee will incur. This is compensation as I’m a busy celebrant who has more than likely turned away another couple looking to book my services on that day.

Cancellations

If you choose to cancel your ceremony more than 6 months prior to your wedding date, I will refund your deposit bar $50. If your cancellation is within 6 months your deposit is not refundable.

Delays/Late Arrivals

Please be aware that I’m fortunate enough to be a sought after celebrant who often books more than 1 ceremony on any given day. I always take care to ensure I leave enough time to allow for a relaxed ceremony, and both the couple and I will not be rushed. I factor in to this extra time for the bride to be a little late – but within reason. However recent events have led me to state this in writing – If a bride has not arrived at the ceremony venue 20 minutes after the agreed commencement time and another wedding has been booked, I may unfortunately have to leave. I will always endeavour to work around this – but it’s not always possible. I will return to perform the ceremony as soon as possible.

If another wedding has been booked to follow your service, I will ensure that you are aware of this prior to your day. I’ve performed many weddings over the years and this has only been an issue once – when a bride spontaneously decided she wanted an extra hour of photos at home, and unfortunately didn’t consider her guests, her soon to be husband – or me and the commitment I had informed her of prior.
